It lumps all four drives together and one source. Drobo then shows the drive at about 50% of the size the four drives add up. Drobo duplicates your data automatically.</p> <p>I picked one up on Friday. It is currently hold 3.5TBs of data. The unit is very quite. Much quieter than the two, dual Vantec drives I had sitting in the office before.</p> <p>I can't say I am just a little nervous relaying on one device, but I have my fingers crossed. </p>
